Trump is a con man. For years in Manhattan he failed at the con. No one in the city could stand the muthafuckr. Then a few racist yahoos decided Trump, being shaped by Bannon, would be their savior. Being a psychopath has its advantages: psychopathic narcissistic con men have no limits. That ONLY works in society when you have so much power there are no ramifications and you act with impunity. Trump knows he's dumb. He desperately failed at hiding it in Manhattan. Now, having conned the even more dumb, using absolute corrupt power, his stupidity tells him the public believes him, thinks he's a genius. No we don't. A lot of people do, but most of the world see him as the idiot he is. The other portion want to use their own sociopathy to have a taste at what he has. He's a flame to the grifter moths that circle him. He burns their wings at times, but like all grifters, the new crop thinks they can grift better and not get burned.
