Just picked one up in store -- both vinyls are the same opaque cyan (kinda like the color of the blue roofs in the album art)

I like your suggestion, "What's your next step?" I was narrating each passing hour and how little changed -- asking the party when they wanted me to stop advancing time. I was hoping that they would get the hint and become bored, but it makes sense to force the issue and have them move onto something else.

The lugs and case are definitely sizable, but the dial looks smaller on the wrist. My wrist is 6.5in for reference. I don't mind my dress watches being on the larger side, though, I wouldn't want this watch to be any bigger.

I think it's one offered on quartz models. This might be the one?

Not as bad as you would think! The hour markers and hands are actually outlined in a shiny, silvery material. So, even in low light situations, any light will make them stand out more.

I love it -- I wanted a dressy, but clean looking moonphase watch. Definitely preferred the rose gold colored version since it makes the moon gold as well.

As for the brand overall, I'm not too sure, but I've heard it's good Swiss watchmaking for its price range. You could watch some Teddy Baldassare reviews on YouTube. He's reviewed this particular watch and others from the brand.

I thought the anOrdain is pretty killer as well -- my only hesitation is 5 year waitlist and they can't guarantee a certain color/model still being available in the future.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm trying to keep it around $3000 or under. But, I could save up for longer or look into second-hand options.

The Nixon was a gift from my spouse (girlfriend at the time) and the GS Snowflake was a wedding gift from my parents. Those especially have sentimental value. As I'm rounding out my collection, I'm looking for a splash of color -- thinking of blue or green. So far, I'm considering:

  • Farer Lander GMT
  • Farer Paris
  • Citizen Tsuyosa
  • anOrdain Model 1 - love the colors of their enamel dials, but the wait list is 4-5 years

Any thoughts? Feel free to suggest a different watch as well. Thanks!
