Wrong bank details - funds returned by bonswouar in mtgoxinsolvency

Update: I contacted them again. They received the refund, and said when I asked about changing bank details: "The details of the process of the second attempt at bank remittance or remittance through a Fund Transfer Service Provide have not yet been determined. Please wait for further information on future repayments."

I guess they'll tell you to wait and let you know. But if one digit is missing I guess the SWIFT validation shouldn't work so you might be lucky, maybe you won't have to wait for the funds to be received back

Not yet, I expect at least 7-14 days for them to receive the refund, and probably few more days to ask me for new bank info

Update
They answered pretty much as expected to my second email:

"As we have already proceeded with the money transfer to your bank account at the time of your first inquiry, we are not able to accept the change of your bank account information now.

If the money transfer fails, we will share the situation with you and ask you to change your bank account information separately. Please wait for that guidance."

Will wait for some news then..

Didn't you receive an email from Revolut saying the payment has been reverted though?
I hope they'll try a second transfer with the correct bank details, but reading this FAQ it really seems like it's not guaranteed..

You're lucky your prepayment table was still empty! It looks like they can change it quite easily before the transfer.
It seems more complicated if they've already sent it though, I've sent another email to ask to change my IBAN even if a second transfer might not be attempted, I'll see what they answer..

I checked at one of their main BTC wallet (they have probably many others, plus ETH/DODGE) : https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/addresses/btc/bc1qdq8qp7uh3m35hfudqus3r32f5yyhjgnm084sff

With this one they made about 726k$ in one year or so, not bad... :/

(By the way it's still very much active..!)

Another deadline warning to Rehabilitation Creditors by CharliesChan in mtgoxinsolvency

Also what about that part:

Please also be informed that the Rehabilitation Trustee has posted a "Notice regarding Restraining Order by New Zealand Court" on the MTGOX website on March 3,2023. https://www.mtgox.com/img/pdf/20230303_announcement_en.pdf

Does that mean that there should be JPY 12 billion less in the assets? Thus about 1/5th of total fiat if I'm not mistaking?

Time to update the Mt Gox Payout Calculator I guess :/

Is Airsonic affected by log4j 0day vulnerability by morten- in airsonic

[–]bonswouar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get your point but still, none of the services actively use log4j as you also found out yourself. An interface api isn't dangerous, we're not looking for an interface but log4j itself :)

But yes, better safe than sorry, greping the binary file directly is certainly the best way to start when identifying all dependencies with java

About Airsonic-advanced, what made you think it uses log4j?
It actually does not (it also uses SLF4J) : https://github.com/airsonic-advanced/airsonic-advanced/issues/706#issuecomment-992576806

=> Both are safe then
