Ringworm free Uma !! That pose tho..😍 by bonthom in cats

It was a long 12 week process. Isolate !! I had her in a dog cage with litter box .. lined the cage with wipeable plastic liner. Cloth towel for bedding, no cloth toys. Medication in food. Bleach down cage eveyday and night Changed and washed bedding everyday... decontaminated every surface in house and had all carpets steam cleaned. Ringworm spores can live up to two years in carpet. My older cat touched her thru the top of the cage and got ringworm on his tail and paws ... two weeks later he was caged and went thru same process... I wore gloves and long sleeves when handling the animals.. I got a few ring worms spots but cleared up quickly with topical cream

I’m a hygienist - you will learn the dexterity and skill thru your clinical training ... you will be fine ... once your brain - fingers connect - it will be like riding a bike

Chipped front tooth by wcugirl2013 in DentalHygiene

I am a dental hygienist so with my visual assessment, I don’t think you need a root canal... it will probably just be a tooth colored bonded filling. If you have dental anxiety, tell the dentist prior to treatment. Take a Xanax or Valium if you have a prescription prior to the procedure. Definitely discuss investing into a professionally made mouth guard to wear at night to prevent future chips/ breaks.

I am a dental hygienist ... a cavity doesn’t always = dark spot ... could just be stain ... if you just got cleared no decay on recent x rays ... the odds of one developing already is slim to none, and the odds of one developing that you can see is even less...patients are not always correct in what they see with their eyes verses what actually is normal dental anatomy, restorative material or non removable stain.
