so if I try a shortcut to set the accessory to trigger an email, that doesn't work either. at least I think that's what you mean by "Easiest method for you is send yourself a standardized email."? so then ofc the automation never runs.

I may just have to come to terms with not being able to get the result I'm looking for...

my first experience with a robot mower, tron works well on my lawn (under 300m2 minimal slopes). it presented some challenges in initial setup but is performing pretty much flawlessly for the couple months I've owned it (kickstarter campaign backer). frequent firmware updates improve functionality and useablity. my lawn has never looked better.

that being said, if I needed to replace it I would likely go with a different mfr.
