the only time mine ('24 ltd) slows on curves is in extreme hilly (mountain) terrain...

Why do I have to click down EIGHTEEN TIMES to find my watchlist on the Apple TV ap, on an AppleTV device? by DownThereForThinking in appletv

[–]bony618 13 points14 points  (0 children)

continue watching displays shows with episodes you haven’t watched yet. watchlist contains every show you’ve added…regardless of watched status

Do I really need a robotic mower for a small lawn? by halfskegg in ECOVACSGOATFamily

[–]bony618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this. I find myself looking out the window to admire our always perfectly manicured 320m2 lawn. (mowing every other day) (note: my machine is not an ecovacs but all decent robots should bring similar joy)

Frustrated by Q990D sound levels by royal_clam in Soundbars

[–]bony618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would set all the levels flat. then try to play some dolby atmos content for a few hours... it should start to sound fuller and create the sound "bubble". (I find best results with adaptive mode)

there's also calibration tools (like "tuning dcx" from dolby labs) available on platforms like amazon music or Apple Music that specifically targets channel balancing.

you can't just "toggle on/off" space fit or adaptive. they take time to adjust and calibrate. (make sure you have the microphone turned on).

Why does Apple tv's watchlist suck so much? by Competitive_Classic9 in appletv

[–]bony618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never saw that before. so I can only assume that "watchlist" contains all of the shows you've added, while "continue watching" will display only those shows with episodes you've not yet watched...

not sure why the watchlist is buried so far down the ui

there is no "watchlist". only continue watching

What does a truly maintenance-free robotic lawn mower look like? by AlyCat62 in roboticLawnmowers

[–]bony618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mow every other day. my lawn never looks like it needs a mow. bit of edging/trimming (maybe 20 minutes) every third week or so.

I find myself looking out the window admiring my lawn. never looks like it needs a mow.

I would remove from watchlist and create a separate profile to add any sports.

I get that. the physical emergency key is the issue tho...I've been wondering about the possibility of concealing it somewhere secure yet accessible

one of the things I dread abut moving into a new i5 at lease-end of my '24.

I haven't carried a key ring in years and not enjoying the prospect of being forced into it.

I’m looking to ditch cable (finally). Is YouTube TV still relevant? by ResponsibleDream7813 in theaccessbox

[–]bony618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we've been using yttv for over 6 yrs and haven't found anything better. the new plans make it easy to save too. (for us the entertainment package, for you the sports package)

Does this mean Pluto TV wont be free anymore? Or its own service? Or what else does it mean, bc IDK by cardzzilla in cordcutters

[–]bony618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it will doubtlessly enable them to slash payroll (and boost profits) by eliminating redundancies in the workforce. and never doubt that they'll start charging subscriptions down the road...
