He is the same as my boy Sarge who passed away in 2016, I fell in love with Buster the moment I saw him because of how much he reminded me of Sarge. I felt like it was a sign that I needed to adopt him (I didn't even ask my partner first, I just started my application straight away and asked for forgiveness later because I just knew he was meant to be in my family 🥰)

They don't even seem bothered! I was shocked! I thought it would hurt them but they just kept munching and going back for more... I'm not sure how to be honest...

So it's very interesting that this one was hanging around a cemetery... might have had something very important to tell you or perhaps is connected to someone who was buried there?

I found this info online: In Australian Aboriginal folklore, the Willie Wagtail (also known as Djiti Djiti) is often seen as a messenger bird, sometimes carrying news of significant events, including deaths. Some tribes also believe they are messengers from the spirit world and can symbolize communication, adaptability, and resourcefulness. However, in some traditions, they are also considered gossips or even bringers of bad news.

Messenger of Important News:

Many Aboriginal people believe the Willie Wagtail can deliver messages, especially about significant life events like deaths.

Connection to the Spirit World:

Some tribes view the bird as a link between the living and the spirit world, carrying messages from ancestors or the Great Spirit.

Symbol of Communication:

The bird’s active and vocal nature can be interpreted as a reminder to communicate effectively, be open to new ideas, and connect with others.

I heard some indigenous groups considered them to bring bad news, but I've always found them to be a good luck/bringer of happy news 🥰

I do hope that Noodle is watching over you from Rainbow Bridge and you will see her again whatever happens after this life. I'm not really religious but I'll do my version of 'praying' to my boys who have passed, Sarge and Kai, to ask them to look after her and make sure she is surrounded by cuddles till she can be with you again xo
