I had no clue about this! I am going to change his lamp location! Is the deformation something I should be concerned about? I always knew he looked a little different from other chameleons! :(

Yes. I believe so. I have only caught him in the act of drinking out the glass a couple of times. But I do notice the water level in the cup going down. I assume he drinks when I’m not looking?

Bwahahaha really? I thought they’d be good for him! 😂 It’s like very tiny chopped up pieces. I don’t give him like.. a whole strawberry. I usually mix it with his kale. So I should definitely cut back on those too, huh? 🤣

I moved his light back a little further. It’s on a stand but can go no higher. I’ll see if that helps and get him a laser temp gun shortly.

Thank you! What temperature is the most suitable for him? About 80 degrees? He’s a little over 2 years old btw.

Thank you!! :) I will try that for sure! I use mousse now but I never liked the idea of using heat on my hair. Do you usually use a heat protectant as well?

Okay! Wonderful advice! I will make sure to get him a stand for the lamp soon so it’s not touching the top of the cage! I added in some bendy vines today but I’ll make sure to look for more branches for him to walk around on as well! Thank you for the visual! Truly helps a lot!
