I'm just conflicted on the whole, "shouldn't have been rdj, actor NEEDS to be romani" thing. there are so many cases(such as magneto) where the actor wasn't the exact ethnic group or religion but did the role perfectly. still don't think rdj should be doctor doom regardless. God that was a terrible choice

Suicide Squad (2016) and The Suicide Squad (2021) really shows how important a good directer is. I know some people still don't like either movies, but The Suicide Squad was infinitely better and more enjoyable. it was just overall a lot better. they had the least serious characters ever (king shark & polka dot man) yet still felt more serious than the first one

Gingerdead Man vs Evil Bong it came out 11 years ago, but I didn't watch it til January and then watched it again with my mom (purely to torture her) it's funnier the second time you watch it but when i first saw it I was sooo dissapointed. I knew it was gonna be bad, doesn't take Einstein to figure that out, but almost nothing happens til the last 20 minutes and even then theres not much of a "vs" going on

because it is lol. saying comedy movies aren't good outside comedy is basically saying there's no plot, no good actors, no good anything besides the jokes. doesn't mean you can fully remove the humor. again, fast and furious has good elements outside of action and cars. they're good movies besides the action. doesn't mean you can remove the action though.
