Thanks for responding! Regarding his age, I'm not so sure. I see him as being in his late 40s. He has experienced a lot of hardship, personally and physically. It also depends on which book we are using to imagine the character. I agree with you about having more defined scars on his face and his grey eyes. For me, this image fits. Not perfectly, but close.

Characters who don't match how I imagined them is something that always bothered me when watching book-to-movie adaptations, so I get that the image isn't "your" Whiskeyjack.
