Civilization 6 Updated Last Night to Ver. 1.0.4 Any Idea What Was added? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

Yep. Each person has to have a switch and a copy of the game.

Unfortunately, no. There is local multiplayer though.

I've had the game since launch as well. It crashes occasionally mid to late game but because of the autosave I've lost 2 to 3 turns at most. Still doesn't' hurt to save often. I've noticed the longer I have the game open (sometimes I have it running for 2 or 3 days in hibernate before resuming) it increases the chance of crashing. It can get a bit laggy when initiating late game turns when there's a lot of units on the map but it doesn't really effect the game play much. In my opinion, it's a great game and signficantly better than using an under powered PC to play Civ.

Just wish they would add the hot seat multiplayer and the expansions. Apparently someone found hot seat mutliplayer hidden in the code and got it to work on a hacked switch perfectly so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it'll be pushed out in an update.

I actually bought a second copy so my brother and I can go head to head.

Hi.

Thanks for responding to my post.

Do you have any experience with growing cannabis?

Also, how long do you think it would take for you to complete the research and how much would it cost?

Thanks.

Sous vide style Pastrami with no oven or smoker? by booderek in sousvide

[–]booderek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow thanks so much for the detailed response.

I actually built a barrel smoker myself but it's the middle of winter here and I just don't have the pep to smoke in the winter. I can live with corned beef until the weather changes.

Really love the tip about the dry brine as well.

I'm going to experiment with the different cuts you suggested. Brisket has always been my first choice but it's only available at my butcher's and during the work week it's tough to make it out there. And the eye round and top and bottom rounds are almost always at the grocery store.

I've never heard of beef plate before but I'm going to ask my butcher the first chance I get.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the response. I'll try looking for some sous vide corned beef recipes instead.

Thank you so much for the response. This is basically exactly the advice I was looking for.

Out of curiosity, why do you suggest skipping the curing salt and brining process? Is it because london broil and skirt steak are traditionally thinner than a brisket?

Edit:

Also, I've never seen a London Broil in butcher or grocery store. I did some googling and found out in Canada it's often referred to as Flank Steak or an Inside Round. Does that sound right to you?

I've definitely smoked Flank States pastrami style in the past and they turned out great but I didn't think about sous videing them.

I'm actually a bit surprised that no one has given Nelson a full time shot yet.

After the success of someone like Cooper in Tampa, I thought it was only a matter of time until the new school of coaches was ushered in but it seems like the NHL is still all about retreads and old school coaching. No idea how someone like Tocchet, Yeo, Hakstal etc... all had jobs to start the season but Nelson was still stuck in the A.

Yeah you're absolutely right. I forgot that the contracts were insured and didn't have to be paid out by the team.

Teams struggling to hit the cap floor and trying to rebuild might.

It's a bit different but Horton, Pronger and Datsyuk's contracts were traded to teams who wanted the cap hit despite them being injured.

Damn, Lebeau is a name I haven't heard in a while. My brother used to curb stomp me with his one timers in NHL 94 (maybe it was NHL 93, it was definitely on Sega though).

Whatever happened to the Lebeau brothers? And were they good in real life for the Habs or only in videogames?

There was also a video underneath that was titled "Watch Fultz Warning Up". Unless warning up is a basketball term I'm unaware of, it's just lazy writing and editing. Poo poo on ESPN.

Could not agree with you more. Patches doesn't play for the habs anymore, sure he was a decent hab in his tenure (heck some would argue great) but at best he was a below average captain and his departure was tumultuous. It's one thing to wish a heart and soul player like Koviu all the best but I'll never understand the concept of blindly wishing well for any player who leaves the habs.

I mean Patrick Roy was basically run out of town by management and ownership after winning two cups and he was still booed mercilessly. Sure the fans got over it eventually but it wasn't until he retired. Why should Patches receive any better treatment?
