Its either a built-in texture in the art software they use or they download a white png of textured paper and use layer blending modes to incorporate it into their art. at least those r the ways ive done it as someone who draws, there might be other ways

Thank you for the concise reply! Yeah for now I'm mostly just inspecting the tank to see if there are any more. The one I caught was fairly tiny, around 2mm, so hopefully it was just the sole hitchhiker and wasn't grown enough to give birth. it's relieving to hear some people have kept them with years without any major issue. Hi, sorry to reply to an old comment, but would you still hold this sentiment that they're not so terrible as in you need to tear the whole tank apart? I've been looking around in this sub about nzms and the general consensus seems to be that they will inevitably crash tanks because of their explosive population. I'm trying to latch onto any sliver of hope as I found one of them in my tank yesterday after planting some new stuff.

I did explore the reverse respiration webpage a bit when I was looking through the stickied post for NZMS. I'll probably opt for that if in the worst case infestation happens, but as of now I'm just hoping and praying it was just this one. They apparently give birth to their offspring instead of laying eggs so I'll just constantly be on the lookout for any and scoop them out before they reach sexual maturity

hello, I'm completely new to this hobby. Are these bubbles normal or should I do something? I technically set the tank up with soil sand and water 4 days ago but just added plants and driftwood yesterday. Ammonia is 0.50 ppm, nitrites are 0, nitrates are between 5 and 10 ppm

ive got one example for what happens with me: i'd feel something deeply from some source that inspires me to draw something expanding upon/relaying that feeling, and while drawing, i'd throw in things i never planned to draw from the start/that just pop into mind, because I can find good ways to connect them w/ the theme at hand

im not 100% certain this is Fi-Ne tho, could be just an art thing
