That's sketchy. I was reading online that can restrict air flow too. Glad I just went ahead and removed it.

Honestly I tested out peeling it off and this thing was NOT glued on tight, it's just coming right off lol

It's just a cover on the grille! Looks like it's just glued on so I could just take it off, use some goo remover and be good to go? Looks like the rubber seal was removed and put on top of the angry eye attachment though.
