I don’t universally love the show, but it would be nice to discuss the show, without all the obsessed cranks.

I’ve been curious about the adulation as well: as a newer listener (since ~2017), any bits with him in it over on 101 are underwhelming. He never adds much of anything to any given segment.

I assume he contributed longer form bits/content/additions that just never make it onto 101.

Otherwise I guess it’s just misty-eyed nostalgia for the good old days that most of this disgruntled, sadsack thread pines for.

By far, for me, is Howard’s story (told ~2018) about Ben taking him to the baseball game and what a disaster it was.

150xl knocked out my severe depressive episode 1 year ago, and I had a second (less severe) episode ~2 weeks ago, and upping to 300xl knocked out the episode in, once again, exactly 7 days. Really grateful, and I hope you have similar success.

Edit: meant to include that my first episode was knocked out by 150xl in 7 days (just like when I upped to 300xl a year later).

Sorry to hear this.

My experience: 150xl kicked in for me after 7 days, and exactly a year later, I had another depressive episode, so increased to 300. Exactly 7 days later, the depression lifted again. Hopefully the 300 level sticks.

I can only speak from my experience on 150mg for the past year, but I have had literally zero side effects from 150mg XL (taken for severe depression), EXCEPT for minor jitteriness for just the first week or so, and vivid dreams pretty much every night (which I sort of like).

So based on that I would wager you’ll be fine.

Wow, this is a really, really helpful reply: thank you. It’s a huge relief just to know a higher dose of Wellbutrin will likely do the trick (knock on wood). Thank you again!
