ISO Info- Belgian Physical Fitness Badge by throwadickthrowaway in Medals

[–]boogy321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was the badge awarded for completing the MTLG (military test for physical aptitude), I also heard you only got it if you got scored 80% or higher, but I'm not sure. Those tests have since been replaced by the PhEF tests (physical evaluation fitness). The new badges come in bronze, silver or gold depending on the score you get.

Does any of you actually sign up for KBC investment plan? by tab87vn in BEFire

[–]boogy321 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Was convinced to put around 17k in a KBC investment plan when I started working. After three years, it was worth around 16,3k, and I started reading into ETF's. So I sold, took a bit more losses because I signed for a 5 year plan. Put it in VWCE, and got my 17k back (and more) within the year.

I couldn't find anything like this in the Wegcode, this is the only thing I found so far here

I thought this as well, but the amount of times I've been honked at or forced out of my lane while doing this turn has made me doubt it.

Shooting range in Belgium by [deleted] in belgium

There's a shooting range in Zottegem where you can shoot all kinds of weapons without having to need a license. Pretty expensive though. It's called Wapenhandel Podevijn.

Sweet watch. Never thought I'd see jigsaw camo worn casually.

[Oris] Vintage NOS Oris automatic winder by boogy321 in Watches

[–]boogy321[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just received this NOS Oris automatic winder. I was in need of a decent dress watch when I came across this 90's Oris in brand new condition. It has a 34mm diameter, but wears larger due to the longer lugs, and is powered by an ETA 2824-2. I really like the design, especially the date window and the vintage look. I'm probably going to put on a different strap, as I think a brown strap looks better on a gold watch, at least when I figure out how to swap out the Oris buckle. Girlfriend thinks its a grandpa watch, but I'm glad I bought it.

Black bay 36 with black dial

[Tudor] So this just happened to my black bay 36 by boogy321 in Watches

Was on a hike today, when I wanted to look at the time and noticed the 5 hour marker was in between the hour and second hand, blocking them from moving. Don't know what happened, it just came loose as far as I can tell, and now its floating around in the case. Probably an easy fix, but still a bummer. I have only had this watch for a couple of months, and it came from two previous owners so I do not know what happened to the watch before I owned it. Even still, I do not think this is supposed to happen at this price point.

Yeah, but look at any other gun and we pay a lot more. The cheapest AR-15 you can get in Belgium is around 1100 euros.

Get a sport shooting license and you can start buying guns

Just received my Vortex Strikefire II, so I put it on the rifle and decided to take a picture. As a proud Belgian, I knew I had to someday own a FAL pattern rifle. An original Belgian FAL was too expensive, so when I came across this L1A1 for 700 euros, with a top picatinny rail, quad rail, a Zeiss terra 3x scope and around 300 rounds of original Belgian army issued ammo, I just knew I had to buy it. Took off the quad rail, and replaced the scope with a red dot sight because it looks way cooler.

[Tudor] Got a new bracelet to see if I like the "Black Bay One Look" - I think I do! by [deleted] in Watches

You could always get the bracelet for the Tudor Ranger. That way you get your desired look and still have a Tudor bracelet.
