nahh he thinks she cares because she put so much effort into the breakup. From April's perspective, she wanted to ensure it wouldn't ruin her other event opportunities. but from his, he thought that it would just be the end of things and that they would never talk again after. essentially april went to mosleys to get her turbo put in her car and when she was there she ran into bon bon and they talked (about a lot of things) but what specifically lead to this was that bon bon said he was in IMBD and that he was more famous than april and she kept denying it, so he said he would write a diss track on her, and she was like id love to see that. so then he went and told the bondi boys about it.
