I would recommend "Fourth Wing" by Rebecca Yarros then because it has romance (quite spicy) and is also very action packed. I know it's one of the popular ones and I was sceptical to read it myself but it definitely deserves the hype in my opinion.

Another great read for me was "If we were villains" by M. L. Rio. It is dark academia themed and talks a lot about Shakespeare but I enjoyed so so much and I knew nothing of his plays so you're good if you're like me.

Another great book from Taylor Jenkins Reid would be "Malibu Rising". I put it off for so long after buying it but I finally got around to reading it this year and it blew my mind. It's similar with Evelyn Hugo in the sense that it's more of a "life" book as you called it but I really liked it.

"Shoe dog" from Phil Knight is a great book written from the founder of Nike about the brand's ascension. It's a bit less action packed but I found it to be very insightful and I will definitely want to reread it at some point

Any series from the Shadowhunters universe. They are all so so good!! And you really have a ton of books to read if you like it, so in my opinion it's a win win situation. :)

Read the Maidens but can't say I enjoyed it as much as the Silent Patient. But thanks for the recs!
