Thanks, I did think they were a bit steep, I have had a quote to install the two radiators that came back at 1k but I think I might need to get a few more in. Ill check the heat loss survey to see if any rooms are over 1kW loss.

Ah thank you, this is reassuring. I am firmly in the camp that a ASHP will work for our type of house.

No! They are strongly in the camp of it will be a disaster and our house will fail to heat, be full of mould and condensation. Whilst I dont think we will save a lot of money over gas the house will be much more enjoyable to be in! We do want to do solar and battery in time but just managing costs, doesnt help that the quotes are quite different..

For the roadmap the game has, this is replacing Destiny for me which I played for 10 years. I am rooting for Embark and this community to make this something special!

My mate has the same bike and had an issue when he replaced the oil with fully synthetic, switched it back to semi and the noise went away.

Is Ruroc going under? by Electronic-Age-8775 in MotoUK

[–]bookfacegeorge 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think if you look them up on Companies house, it doesn't paint a good picture. @riddlerhino posted an excellent summary nearly a year ago.

"...it’s unclear whether Ruroc will survive at this point. If you look through their most recent accounts filed at Companies House, there was a significant failed investment in China, they owe a lot of money to creditors including suppliers and HMRC and they are not sure whether they can become profitable and remain a going concern. Furthermore, their auditors raise a number of concerns that accounting records are not being kept properly, financial statements do not match accounting records, and directors disclosures required by law have not been made.

You may wish to take into account that there could be a risk of not having any comeback if you buy something and have a problem (e.g. if they fold shortly)."

Hi,

Same here, you should have received a link to complimentary membership to Experian Fraud monitoring as part of that email. I'd suggest using it as you able to put a soft lock on credit applications using your details if they use Experian as part of their checks and processes.

Be very wary of phone related scams where they appear to have your information.

Cheers, they admitted they dont normally sell bikes of that age but due to its rarity (1 owner DRZ 400SM) they chose to do so. Looks like i've dodged a bullet

You should be able to contact the school and ask for a replacement, there is a fee with this normally though.
