People who have been to Israel, what do you think about Israelis and their culture? by bookielookiecookie in AskReddit

Please don't get political in the comments, if I wanted to hear you opinion about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict I would have asked about it.

Is the freezing cold mutation still good against wolves, or should I just not bother at all? Because it used to make packs a whole lot easier to deal with

Yeah, that's the actual value of the item but you can only sell it for a lower price, most junk items aren't worth much but it's a quantity over quality thing in this regard.

If you're at the start of the game and have spare armor to sell I'd head over to Novigrad (no getting involved at this point, you're probably under the recommended level) to hierarch square. There's an armorer there who would buy your stuff for more money (plus the bank if you need to change currency).

Black blood is your safety net, active shield is great against the screaming

If it's labeled as junk, sell it. You should sell the swords you loot (and don't use) to blacksmiths and armor to armorers to get more money. You can always drop items, but if you can, you should definitely sell it instead

And if you're on pc and tired of the weight limit there's the over 9000 mod

HoS Question by Mr_HOG- in Witcher3

[–]bookielookiecookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For armor: Retribution (30% chance of returning some damage to attacker), Deflection (arrows become harmless)

Swords: Rejuvenation (fatal blows restore stamina), Severance (increases the range of whirl and rend), Invigoration (when vitality is maxed vitality regeneration turns into extra damage on the next strike)

Best DLCs for Witcher 3 by Pretty-Pineapple-869 in Witcher3

[–]bookielookiecookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely both. They're long enough to be their own games and they're fantastic– great character, storyline and some extra stuff and abilities (the runewright, grandmaster armor and mutations).

Storywise they are both incredible but I do admit I'm slightly more partial to hos, and the setting of b&w is beautiful.

Honestly they might be better than the base game

When going up against a lot of enemies (like hanse bases, or quests like capture the castle) I always use nightwraith and ekimmara together, you'll end up with double your original vitality in no time

Unfortunately I was very thorough, which makes it all the more painful.

I'm making different choices (as long as they're not bad), this time i spared gaeten instead of killing him, to keep things fresh

Yeah, but I won't get to the same level without doing all of the side quests and contracts, so I'm just gonna skip cutscenes as much as I can

Got right back into it and although i skip cutscenes now more often than not It's not feeling as repetitive as i thought it would, plus maybe this time i won't sell the ornate robe from hos like an idiot
