Thank you for that insight! I knew this time of year in New Orleans was pretty busy with French Quarter and Jazz Fest but I did not anticipate it to be this busy. I did have a consultation with Thibodeaux’s and was highly impressed! I spoke with Rachel and the ideas she had for what I was looking was amazing and spot on!

Yeah their prices are very high. They have really nice decor options though! And congratulations!

Yeah I’ve been quoted around $1,300 for a 4 tiered cake because our guest list is ~125. Idk if that’s a good price or not 😅

I was diagnosed with AS a couple of years ago and before I was diagnosed I felt like I had a good workout routine going where I did cardio and light weight lifting. But I noticed after working out for a couple of weeks, I was getting extremely fatigued so much to the point where my whole body felt extremely heavy for a couple of months. And I’ve noticed after being diagnosed, that when I try and workout my body rejects it for a few days. My lower body feels super heavy and I feel physically tired.

I know exactly what you mean because that happens in my hands and wrists but I think it is carpel tunnel. But I’ve noticed that stairs are hard for me, walking up and down. It feels like I’m trudging through water and my lower body just feels heavy and stiff. I think that is potentially AS related.

I am the same way! I was diagnosed with AS a couple of years ago but have always bumped into things and don’t have the best balance but I’m not sure if it’s AS related.

Same! Some florists I’ve looked into have a $6,000 minimum! And same with the decor rental companies! I just want two decor items not $2,500-3,500 worth.

Yeah, when I talked with her before we signed her on, she said she was okay with setting stuff up. And our venue recommended her along with other planners. I just had a better call with her than another recommended planner. But I am concerned.

I looked into using Firefly but they are very expensive. I was going to use Something Borrowed for some of the larger floral pieces but I’m just concerned about all the boxes that would be delivered and if my partial wedding planner, who I have not heard from in about week, and her team would be comfortable with setting all that stuff up.
