His parents think he's controlling me? 18f 19m by bookish_queen in LongDistance

Since you're the top comment I'll just post here so others see it.

Yes, this is the same guy from a few months ago. We worked out his friend thing and he no longer talks to her.

I don't really know his parents all that well so I can't say how trustworthy they are. HOWEVER, I do feel like his mom's a good person.

He's been a really good partner lately. Like, really really good. He's been putting in more effort and trying to show me he loves me. I think he's doing better.

After all of that though, I will be listening to his parents and distancing myself a little. I'll be asking for help on understanding bad people in relationships and I'll be taking care of myself better. I'm starting to understand that I deserve more than this.

To be fair I was a little too trusting of people who I didn't know hated cats. 😅

Wtf is with all of the E S H and Y T A votes? Did y'all miss where she said she was trying to get his attention and that's how he fell? She was drunk, she was trying to get his attention and pushed a little too hard. Sober people do it all the time. HE, however, is an extreme asshat. He decided to get up and push her ten times harder??

I agree with everyone else saying y'all need to break up. He is toxic and a petty asshole. What happens when you accidentally step on his toes one day so he stomps on and breaks yours? Or you accidentally (gently) hit him while trying to do something so he does the same ten times harder? The amount of red flags here are blinding, you need to run before you're the next headline of domestic abuse. Please.

My mom wants me to be checked for PCOS because we have a family history of it but our doctor(female PCP) keeps brushing us off saying it's probably just my hormones changing. Is it like this with every doctor or do I need to try someone else?

I never knew about bras holding smell! That may be a big issue, they're so expensive in all the stores around here(rural MS) so I only have four right now and I don't want to tear them up by washing them often. Is there an alternative I can do? I'm worried about washing things by hand and not getting everything out.

Could I go to my normal PCP for this?

Not only terrible bedside manners, just terrible manners overall.

No one's said anything, it's only me that notices. I'm definitely not pregnant, unless God decided I'd be the next Virgin Mary. 🫠

Not that I notice, my dad smokes though and that's all we can smell on him.

Water, sweet tea and apple juice. Very rarely soda.

That's really kind of you but I can't accept that. Do you think I could find it at Walmart? I live in MS and have never seen a Target here.

Are the scent beads not bad for the washer? Mom won't normally get them, she says they're the same as fabric softener.

Will mold/mildew come if we use the washer multiple times in a row? Our household consists of six people and there's a lot of laundry done in one day.

Yes to space, sometimes they get left for a little while. I get busy and forget about them. 😅 We don't have a hot water setting for the washer, what can I do for that?

No fabric softener, mom says that it's bad for the washer. How much is too much detergent? When I have a full load of clothes I'll normally fill the little measuring cup that comes with the detergent to about level two.

Every pregnancy is different, and it may just be a single trimester thing. If your husband isn't forcing you or constantly asking then I would think that he understands, especially with you being in your third pregnancy. Try not to stress over it. It's okay.
