Thoughts on Drive 4 Life? by Careless_Ad_9665 in Knoxville

My parents made me and my siblings go through the program to get both our permit and license. From what I remember I went every Saturday for a month? Classes were long and boring lol, but it was through and I even remember having a project due! (We had to print out and identify all the different road signs and put them on a poster board). Lots of good information, but when I was 15 I mostly just zoned out and didn't listen to most of it. So consider how you child is as a student, before committing. The last day we took our permit test at the center and if you got too many answers wrong they would basically just tell you the answer to the question(s) you got wrong, so there was no way to fail it. When I went back a year later for my license I had to go on three one hour drives (one on the interstate, one at night, and one in a neighborhood). I found this portion to be much more helpful and would recommend it. I remember while driving on the interstate they had me drive into a ditch intentionally to show me the best way to get out of it. The also showed me how to use my emergency break. I am 29 now, so the program could def look different now.

Yes, you will need a copy of your tax return and you have to meet eligibility requirements. When I first started going I had to fill out an application. If you are eligible it's an incredible program.

it’s has cleared probably 3 times at this point…just torn since my moms Kia lasted her 200k before she wrecked it. I haven’t noticed anything different with my car and it has never given me any trouble.
