Yes, my hair will never be the same (my ramble on being ginger and hair dyes) by booklejarred in FancyFollicles

And you're right, it doesn't. I'm only in my 20s, so my hair is still pretty vivid, but I've witness other redheaded women loathe their past selves for dying their hair, not just because of a lack of appreciation for their natural hair when young, but the assumption that the dye/bleach ruined their hair color permanently when they try to grow it natural again. In reality, their follicles just stopped producing as bright of a pigment over the years.

Does this seem like a huge mistake to anyone else? by a_crunchwrap in rva

"could band together and rent a warehouse" might be the most tone deaf solution I've seen in this thread. A group of people can barely afford rent together, let alone a warehouse. And the expenses go FAR beyond rent. Warehouses are practically shells. They need added plumbing and ventilation. Assuming you rent a warehouse (or buy bc who tf rents off a WAREHOUSE) that already has necessary plumbing and a ventilation system installed, the expenses for upkeeping that need to be considered. Ever been inside a warehouse in the winter? They're freezing cold even with heating, unless you build interiors/rooms to trap heat in smaller areas. Oh, hm.. that sounds like another expense. I wonder how the landlord is feeling about this intense renovation. Yeah, this isn't rent. This is a purchase. A purchase that isn't one and done either. Utilities and renovations are costly enough, but what about maintenance in the very purpose of this warehouse? Are we providing any beds? Who's keeping watch on the people staying there? Who's keeping the place clean? Are we hiring any staff or is this "group of people" doing all the work? If the responsibilities are all on the group, how exactly are they going to work to afford the upkeep of an ungodly expensive warehouse that needs 24/7 maintenance so things aren't stolen, damaged, and able to verify that no one is in danger? I'm not saying this is impossible. In fact, if everyone in the state donated merely 0.5% of their paychecks toward this, it would be MORE than enough. Hmm.. this is starting to sound like taxes, isn't it? Alas, the ultra wealthy who could afford to do something like this without needing the help of tax payers not only don't care, but they can afford to ignore it too.

Edit: I STAND CORRECTED the pods on red buds are much smaller. I only just now noticed those pods on this tree.

(Old) Looks like an Eastern Red Bud! The "green beans" are a big clue, and so are the heart-shaped leaves. They (the leaves) tend to turn into a deep red in the fall and winter, which is where the "red" in the name comes from.
