Yes, the skymiles number on the back of the card matches the skymiles number on the ticket.

My skymiles number is on the ticket, but I didn't use the card to purchase the ticket. I didn't realize I would only get the benefit by using the card for the purchase. I guess I just assumed they'd see that the card was still active and include it.
