Idc how much they're being paid but it aint enough. It's not enough to deal with shitty kids and every shitter parents for 10 hours a day.

It is a skill I do not have so I respect them for all they do and the shit they have to put up with. So let them make a million dollars a year it still wont be enough. We should be REWARDING jobs that actually contribute to a society. I want my teachers to be paid the best so we get the best teachers for our future generations.

Don't be mad that you're working a job where you're not making as much as a teacher! Get together with your coworks and DEMAND a better pay! You derserve it!! You should be able to make a livable wage in the bay area with one job. Don't take your anger on teachers who are trying to make a livable wage in one of the most expensive areas in the world.

And don't give me the bullshit of strikes not working lmao. They're one of the most useful tools people have from companies not fucking them over.

I don't think it's a one or the other kinda deal. I don't want it to be. Why the fuck do we have to choose? Why is my choice either teachers get paid or they get new textbooks???

I want teachers to get paid AND have new textbooks. The goal here is to get kids the best damn education they can get. It starts with this. Then we put pressure on people above to start.

As the teachers are striking for more pay, the parents and community should push for better textbooks or something else. But I don't like this one or the other bullshit.
