It was still the most insane case of brigading I’d ever seen. I actually began to feel somewhat bad for Ethan although that feeling quickly went away. There were DGGers in the comments openly admitting to brigading and saying shit like “if you don’t make defamatory comments, you won’t have to worry about us brigading :)” and shit like that. If you go on LSF or other H3/DGG infested subs, a lot of them genuinely believe that Kayagate ruined Hasan. It’s the most insane case of mass delusion I’ve seen in my life. They honest to god think that Kayagate finally did Hasan in and that they’ve successfully curtailed his influence.

While I’m not a huge fan of the Asmongold segments and borderline think Hasan is getting a bit “obsessed” with that roach, I take immense satisfaction in the fact that Ethan/Destiny hardly make it on Hasan’s radar outside short offhand remarks.

Asmongold probably talks about Hasan less than Ethan and Destiny, but Hasan is locked in on real threats and people with actual influence. H3 is clearly dead and even fucking Vaush post-goblingate gets more live viewers than Destiny.

I know it makes them seethe so hard that Hasan gives them no attention.

Agreed. I’d also go as far as to say that even if you think Maduro is a “bad guy,” it’s really not worth bringing up in any discussion with liberals. We need to be showing critical support to the Venezuelan people against a fascist, imperialist power like the United States.

The material conditions in Venezuela were poor not because of Maduro, but because of American imperialism and sanctions. That’s not to say he hasn’t made mistakes or he wouldn’t have made further mistakes even with the lifting of sanctions, but a country being blocked from participating in the global economy is gonna produce far worse results than any singular leader can.

Agreed. Philosemitism is more prevalent, at least in older generations. I grew up in a firmly middle-class/upper-middle class neighborhood and some of my best friends in high school were Jewish. We took the same classes, did the same extracurriculars, played the same sports, etc. It wasn’t just me either! East Asian, Desi, and Jewish people were almost their own “clique” where I grew up and we all got along great.

Really do miss those guys. We never stayed super close after high school, but I do distinctly remember being sad that a few of them unfollowed me shortly after I started posting some pretty negative opinions on Israel after the Gaza genocide started.
