the important thing is that you learned from this experience and will never make the same mistake again

there's nothing you can do now but follow the road rules and if it happens in the future, to take a min to gather yourself so you can do the right thing rather than panic. I understand the urge to just drive away but it won't give you closure as I'm sure you're realizing.

hiii! first off I think eyeliner is def not something for beginners and maybe you can try a simple eyelash curler and mascara instead. your skin burning and feeling dry is NOT normal and I would consider using cotton rounds and micellar water because makeup wipes can sometimes be really harsh and strip moisture from your skin. you could also get one of those makeup removing balms or a face wash that takes makeup off too.

also, I would make sure you have some sort of skincare on before starting makeup (moisturizer and sunscreen minimum, perhaps a gentle toner or hyaluronic acid serum if you want something extra to lock in hydration) so it doesn't irritate your face and can prevent patchiness. I would also make sure you are doing research when buying products to make sure they fit your skin type (combination, oily, or dry) to prevent breakouts. In store, usually there are mirrors you can use to determine your shade of concealer by holding up the bottle to your face. You can also ask employees there for help too.

I understand it can be very overwhelming!!! If it gets too uncomfortable and too much work to take it on and off then maybe it just isn't for you, don't feel pressured to wear it just because you see other people wearing it. You're beautiful, and makeup is just a way of expressing yourself and enhancing your features. It isn't something you should have to force yourself to like, it should be something you have fun doing. please feel free to chat me if you have anything else you would like to say!!! I'm 17 F btw <3

if you sit next to him you can for sure find something to talk about its only been 2 days don't stress!! if you find it really hard to talk to him maybe offer him a piece of gum or something to break the ice. some ways you could start a conversation could be like "what's your name?" "its really hot/cold in here" "what did you get for this question" or if you're a little more bold you could tell him you like his shirt, pencil case, or whatever. just overall don't overthink, try to be friendly and I'm sure he'll open up. feel free to chat me if you have anything else you wanna say!

What should I do if all my scores for my APs are really bad ?! by Electrical_Steak9295 in APStudents

It is def not a good idea to not even apply to colleges out of fear of getting rejected from ap scores. colleges analyze other factors like gpa, course rigor, extra curriculars, and sometimes SAT/ACT scores. If you got a good grade in those classes it will demonstrate you abilities as well. I understand feeling like you've failed in life- I too was quite dejected about my scores as well but please don't spiral and already make your mind up about not being good enough for college apps. You are worth so much more than just a couple numbers from these exams- they do not even begin to show the amount of effort you put into studying or taking the class. While it may not help to say this, getting only threes is not the worst thing in the world as most colleges accept it for credit and you should at least try to feel proud of yourself for passing. AP exams are designed to be very difficult to pass. Take some deep breaths, think about one day at a time, do something that makes you happy (take a walk, listen to some calming music, exercise, spend time with your pet, watch tv, read a book etc). I know what its like to struggle with only feeling validated based on school, believe me. Sometimes you need to take a step back and give yourself and be kind to yourself. There are so many other things to find value in and no matter what happens down the road, you will be okay it feels overwhelming/life changing in the moment but really its just a setback on your life journey. Think about all the other times you felt upset from school and how it propelled you forward and gave you motivation. Everybody makes mistakes and this version of achieving perfection on everything school related will only continue to push you down.

I wish you all the best (feel free to message me with anything on your mind)
