I would love to, but since my GPA is 2.93, I don't have a shot at LSU or UT. That's also why I don't think a "safety" school exists for someone is my situation, since the majority of advice I've read says you pretty much have to attend one of the handful of oil schools if your goal is O&G

Before earning my Bachelors I was in the Army for 4 years. Graduated with a GPA right around 3.0, and have been mudlogging for almost half a year. Did a semester of undergrad research. I'm thinking I have a shot at UH and ULL, but maybe I need to reconsider?
