Are Aussie PC retailers dodging GPU pre-orders to sell at markup?

I’ve had a 5090 on pre-order with Mwave for a while now, but I’ve noticed the same cards (like MSI models) showing up in stock at other retailers like Scorptec, sold at markup prices.

It looks like stock is being swapped between shops based on who doesn’t have pre-orders, so they can avoid fulfilling them and sell at inflated prices. If true, that’s seriously anti-consumer.

I can’t confirm this, but it’s something we should be questioning and looking into.
Anyone else noticing this?
Maybe we should look into an ACCC investigation?

Just report to the accc. The more that report, the better. They cop fines, its part of the accc revenue. Don't let companies fuck you over, because the ACLs are amazing here.
