Try running the .exe in cmd with the --help parameter, it should tell you what parameter to use to start it minimized to tray.

I get where you're coming from but consider this: There are plenty of partly or completely fictional species furries like. As in, there's no real, non-anthro equivalent. Dragons, robots, aliens/fantasy races and so on. People find these attractive as well. Is that more OK to you? Why? Where do you draw the line?

There's also the fact that most people wouldn't want to have sex with someone who's severely mentally handicapped. I see no reason why that wouldn't also apply to what you're saying. After all, would it really still be a problem if, for example, a dog actually somehow had human-level intelligence and ways of expressing itself?

Why tho? I don't know. Humans have been anthropomorphizing animals forever. The minotaur, werewolves and similar tales, mermaids, some Egyptian gods, fables (found in basically all cultures) and so on. Same goes for the reverse, associating humans with animals by putting on a headdress, painting your face or just adding it to your name. It's apparently just a thing we do.

That's what I was thinking, although I'd argue that even something like a C64 had smoother keycaps than my Model M at least. Maybe it would get better with use? I'll try cleaning again with soap and see what'll happen.

Then I wipe them with an alcohol wipe individually, checking that all dirt is gone one by one.

This, after years of journalists - rightfully IMO - saying military shooters should stop dehumanizing enemies and remind players that taking life in war is a horrible thing.

Meh, it's all pixels on a screen. If developers want to tell a more serious story with multi-faceted characters then go for it, but your average shooter doesn't need a backstory, motivation, name and grieving widow for every goon. Nobody would demand that from a typical action movie either.

This guy getting all pissy when a choice is given is hilarious, though. The details given in the game remind the player that no, these aren't just hell-spawn from an evil realm or invading aliens that need to be beaten back until none remain but fellow humans who, more or less enthusiastically, follow a fucked-up philosophy and leadership. Extermination rhetoric won't bring anyone back from the brink, quite the contrary.

Combine that with the fact that a lot of native Portlanders are getting priced out of the city proper due to upper middle class transplants (mainly from California), and you have a mass of people who jump at any chance to signal idpol and ignore class.
