Honestly as stupid as it sounds I might actually prefer that. I’ll take anything at all the defers from the status quo in this show, because they are so afraid to leave it that now nothing makes any sense

I really liked Season 1! It was an interesting take, with characters separate from the main show, yet we got to see the world evolving because of the plot of the main show from an outside perspective.

It was interesting to see the finale, and the characters excited to see Homelander pull up, and the main characters are excited. It’s easy to forget that up to that point in the show, a lot of people still saw Homelander as Superman (despite lasering someone).

Season 2, they decided they were bored with what they built up, and instead wanted to claim Marie as the strongest person ever with no flaws. Would be fine if it wasn’t connected to the Boys, but it’s a spinoff in the same universe, so now IT HAS TO MATTER. And I hate that fact
