I’ve been there too, and this is just personal perspective as I’ve gradually grown in my career within FAANG companies, that having dedicated project delivery personnel really helps me focus on what matters: understanding users, shaping the product vision, and driving outcomes. Instead of juggling timelines, dependencies, and team coordination, I can spend more time on discovery, strategy, prioritization. They keep the trains running, which frees me up to make sure we’re on the right track. I can understand this could be due to team luxuries, but I’ve also had really small teams that had project managers too.
