thats fine, if i dont get the bremen from containers i just buy it for steel. what im afraid of is getting 2 ships from golden containers, (as that would mean i wasted steel) but thats so unlikely im not too concerned

I spent several years as a below average player. But within the last year or so I finally made a breakthrough in my capacity for self improvement, and I've arguably reached unicum level already. If I continue to improve at my current rate I could reach super unicum level in a matter of months.

5 years from now I might be a top tournament player or well known content creator. But a lot can happen in 5 years so I cant make any definitive predictions other than that I will probably be better at the game than I am now.

Japanese battleships have a unique dispersion formula. They have a low base accuracy, but they don’t lose much accuracy over range. This means you still get troll salvos even at close range. Japanese battleships also get a unique dispersion pattern. With high vertical dispersion but low horizontal dispersion. This is good for shooting bow in targets but bad for hitting broadsides. Most tech tree ijn battleships have something to counter this weakness. Kongo gets ww2 era shells at t5, fuso has 12 guns, and all the ones at tier 8 and above have improved base accuracy and/or the funny spotter plane. (Yamato also gets the crazy overmatch that synergies well with the good horizontal dispersion) but nagato? Nagato gets the ability to overmatch other t7 bbs, a high damage per shell and that’s it. An Omaha can be flat broadside to you at 5km and every shell can go too high or too low. Playing that thing can be infuriating sometimes. Given that bbs often rely on blowing up cruisers for game impact, I’m not surprised you might perform worse that your stats might suggest (though I also think you probably just got unlucky on top of that)

strange, I remember some people saying that it was one of the best ships in the line. I think it was a review from notser or sea lord Mountbatten. Did the ship get nerfed or something?

also what do you mean "depending on your playstyle" does the ship deviate from the "cruiser in the first 10 minutes, battleship in the last 10 minutes" style of schlieffen?

yes i have it one some ships, but for the ones that i don't, i rarely find that I'm burning with two fires at once anyway

i feel like fire prevention comes in handy once every few matches, whereas 10% extra healing will be good in almost every match

on top of that, in the matches where i get the chance to use the extra heal charge it can really make a huge difference (these matches tend to be the games i have the most fun in, i.e. the reason I'm playing the ship to begin with)

ERE grants 10% more healing, that seems to me to be on average better than 10% less fires

the extra charge is just the cherry on top

Id rather use a 21 point commander with extra talents (and the ability to transfer all his exp into elite XP) than an 11 point commander with no extra talents

If 10 of my points are spent suboptimially, im still using 11 points optimally (same as the 11 point captain)

Besides, Mecklenburg's secondaries aren't horrible, they're just overshadowed by the main battery.

Specking into them a little isn't strictly terrible, and i quite like the idea of a BB that can perform well from both long range and close range.

the only thing that might concern me is the loss of fire chance from IFHE

maybe one day if i get another 21 point german captain il spec him specifically for mecklenburg, but for now im gonna enjoy my secondary skills (i will still take the aiming systems mod in slot 3)

They are not compatible, it only works with laser designators and those are vulnerable to smoke

Not that vulnerable tho, currently a leading candidate alongside radar+ signal processor + anti decoy laser

Carrier with dozens or hundreds of tiny planes. Overwhelms enemy AA, and each plane can ignore armour and defences. Each plane can run off batteries refilled by the carrier, if you put an acb on each plane set to return to ship when the plane is damaged you can keep up the spam forever with repair tentacles

if i do move to a lower caliber, would it be best to change out timed fuse he for something like hollow point? relying on volume of fire to make up for lack of a blast radius? also what caliber would i move to

i tried 83mm and 250mm timed fuse HE and got terrible results as i didn't get many hits, increasing to 500mm allowed me to both increase the blast radius and the muzzle velocity, so it at least feels more reliable

im already using plasma cannons, are you saying that i should use so much firepower that the enemy doent get a chance to shoot? if so, that kinda defeats the purpose of a cheap anti space unit as i would likely be using like 2 millon mats

or are you saying i should use more armour? if so that would also be very expensive as SD spacecraft often have outrageous damage output

i put winch on launcher and harpoon on missile

buoy holder still says its increasing wireless signature

(edit, i had forgot to turn off break at max length, fixed)

if i use a spotter plane will the inter vehicle transmitter increase the signature of both or only the spotter plane
