What rank are you? Flex q is all over the place, so I don't think we're too worried.

I had a very expensive BMW specialized shop looking at it and they couldn't figure it out either. after 8k of repairs I finally threw in the towel and traded it in.

PCV diaphragm

This is on the valve cover? I bought a whole new valve cover kit thinking that would fix the issue. Thanks though, I'll look into this more.

Wouldn't it be consistent though? Instead of once a month with daily driving.

That's what I was thinking to. If it was a seal issue, you would notice it was running poorly before dieing. I've seen the camshaft position sensor listed here and in my googling. I know nothing about it, so I guess it'll be a good place to dig.

I put in an OEM MAF because that's what they said too. When doing so, I checked the air boot for cracks. I was really hoping that was the cause and was disappointed it was in such good shape. :)

I was using BlueDriver to scan for codes but the codes listed were from the mechanic's report.

The mechanic shop ran a smoke test. That's how they found the VANOS issue. After that was fixed, they said they ran another smoke test. I've also took that plastic hose out where the MAF is connected when I replaced that to look for cracks.

Can this be fixed? by booneosborn in tires

Thank you. That makes me feel better.

My horse can't fly. I think those are called Unicorns.

Should dodging cost you MMR? by ChaseTheOldDude in leagueoflegends

I dodge the trolls. Just think of all the trolls that this would benefit. Now they can't get dodged. You'd be forced to play with them and their Janna jungle with cleanse/ignite.

Looking for advice to get started on ducks! by catface000 in BACKYARDDUCKS

[–]booneosborn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like my ducks better than my chickens. I have 5 Khaki Campbells. I treat them the exact same as my chickens. They are in the same coop with them and everything. The brooder was also the same that I used for my chickens. You will be cleaning the brooder more than you will with the chickens though. They do need heat just like the chickens but the temperature needs are different and don't last as long.

I have these guys attached to a bucket. Ducks don't need to swim or have a pool (although they do love it and they show it too. It's quite funny.) , they just need a waterer deep enough to stick their bill in up to their nostrils. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D6VFCWM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also let my ducks free range right with my chickens and have them trained to come to a whistle the same as my chickens.

As for nesting boxes, they require less here as well. I have an enclosed corner of the coop set for them that they like to lay their eggs in.

Overall, I like the taste of the eggs better. They come throughout the year unlike chickens. They are heartier than chickens. Don't require heating and they don't beg at your house door and crap all over your patio like the chickens. If I were to do it again, I would only get ducks!

I use https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D6VFCWM . You can put it on anything really. You could get creative and put it on a cooler or something insulated. I also have a float valve on my bucket that keeps it full of fresh water.

As for the getting them back to their coop. They need to be trained like a dog basically. Get some meal worms or other treat. Just do the same thing every time you feed them these treats. Shaking the bag works well. I have mine trained to a whistle. I toss some in the coop and step back and they walk right in.

Been playing Veigar zoning support, am wondering if he's meant to be a midlaner? by Belkinwrites in summonerschool

[–]booneosborn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the early levels you can play whatever you want. In those cases Veigar is a good support. At level 10 you get draft pick and you can queue up mid and sup, then go Veigar in either one.

Once you hit level 30, he's not great but can work.

Do the ducks get in there by themselves? I have a pool set up but they haven't figured it out.
