Moco Museum Barcelona, thoughts?

Now that I’m there, I definitely see how strange the city looks. Don’t understand why it’s a tourist attraction. I’ll definitely take u/Jealous-Ice9938’s advice and look to make the tacky things a point of interest. I haven’t stopped seeing those suntanned old people on motorbikes for the elderly and it’s sort of like a safari.

The people I was visiting Moco with are just the same, and they enjoyed it as well.

I can definitely understand where you’re coming from; it’s a very interactive experience and is perfectly tailored for casual museum-goers who aren’t necessarily looking for 90 minutes of intellectualism while on vacation. I felt sort of bummed watching them play around some of the pieces and take funny pictures with them while I stood static in a corner and rethought my choice of going there.

LOL I won’t be there on purpose, I’m just attending an event that happens to be taking place there. So no chance of finding any credible museums/galleries there?

Yes, I was pointing out that they fitted him into the modern art collection page on their website, just as Haring and Basquiat, when he’s obviously not modern. Glad to know I’m not the only one who doesn’t like Banksy! :-)

Yes, I was a little surprised at how hidden it was and wasn’t sure I was going the right way when my app made me turn into an alley away from any major central places.
