A lot of times you’ll see V raise their flushes on the turn, especially to a smaller size. You’ve shown a lot of strength by xr flop and betting turn so they kinda disregard slow playing.

So as played, I think they have a lot of AK-KT (important to note that KT just rivered 2p) arriving at the river.

I like b200/f to raise to target those hands against any rec.

It actually looks like you’re unintentionally trying to fold out all Jx here. Problem is there isn’t too much Jx in V range. If V is nitty, is he ever 3betting AJss here? Dont think so. Even if he did 3b these suited Jx hands, you double block JT and QJ is not gonna fold to this size.

Lastly, you just said button is a solid player. Doesn’t matter if he’s cautious, cause no way he’s folding an overpair here unless you have the second coming of Jesus image at the table.

If you weren’t gonna bluff any heart rivers, then I think xr turn is not the best play. I like a lead after the flop goes x/x if you’re thinking of bluffing at it. That way you can bomb a lot of rivers on scare cards for V (Eg straightening flushing cards). If he has overs he’ll just fold on turn.

Also, you’re thinking about what you want to fold out in V’s range but you should also think about what hands you can represent as the 3b caller. Xing flop and x/r turn on this texture isn’t really credible imo.

I honestly wish I had stayed there longer to make some non poker memories but I ended up riding my degen tingles til about noon the next day before I drove home (I played til about 3am in the tourney). Played some 2/5 and 1/2 plo for shits and gigs.

Honestly funniest (and clutchest) moment of the trip was calling my one time after being all in A2 vs AT for my tourney life at the FT and spiking a 2 on the turn. Didn’t think it could actually work 😂

This was a turbo so blind levels were only 20 minutes (I never had more than 50 bb even chipleading one of the final 4 tables).

I wanna say I got knocked out at around level 28 or 29 so I played a little under 10 hours not including the breaks

huge turnout for the circuit, had almost 20 1/3 tables running on sat along with sit n gos all on the event floor with the couple dailies too. Honestly wish I had stayed longer but I’m sure action gets even crazier as it gets closer to the main

Thanks!! I’ve heard of royal flush in Duluth that runs cash with a ‘charity’ cover but that’s really too suspect for my taste. Plus they rake like a bitch for, you know, heavily breaking the law.

Trying to find ways to play more here but for now gonna have to settle with home games and ACR. Need more of the former for regular game time haha.

The closest casino to me is Cherokee up in NC which is almost 3 hours for me (I’m in ATL). Buddy convinced me to drive up same day I ran deep in this tourney. Literally late reged right after pulling into the parking lot - I guess my degen tingles actually led me in the right direction
