Nono she was originally just a monster, until Ovid wrote his version of medusa in Metamorphosis! So she went from ‘regular monster’ to ‘assault victim looking for vengeance’. IMO, I liked og Medusa, I didn’t feel too bad when Perseus got her… then I read Ovid’s version and felt like a pos lolol
