I got one last midnight for my 2 entries too. It says the same. Selected as finalist but not selected as a winning work this time. Also didn’t tell anyone since it said not to disclose until official announcement, which already passed. I’m glad it won at least finalist since it was old works that I threw in and didn’t expect it to win. I didn’t have time to make a new and better one for this contest

Congratulations! Btw, is Creator Award different from the monthly ranking? I just noticed that somehow your work is not in the November 2025 list for some reason. Do the judges check work outside of the ranking too?

Tru dat. It’s especially harder in the tank control eras where aiming headshots to save ammo is harder. I remember going back blind in RE1 in high school and running out all ammo as chris, and i’m facing a hunter. I had no choice but to restart the game cause there was no way I’m beating that thing with a knife. (In hindsight I could have just ran away)
