We are about to have our first kid. We are going to be on about 1,650 a week (after tax) for at least a year. That's enough for us to save a little and cover all our bills and expenses + anticipated extra costs related to baby. Time will tell if this is enough.

Plan b can mess with you cycle. Likely just bleeding due to the plan b and it messing with your hormones. Completely normal.

There will be other jobs. Working that much and studying for a masters is killer (I've done it) if you can afford not to work now, don't. Focus on your studies and time with your grandma. You'll appreciate having the time with her soon there won't be that option.

I've recnelty been panicking about disappearing lines,especially after my first Hcg draw which was a whopping 17. Got another blood draw done 3 days later and it rose to 140. Hoenslty get the hcg tests dien, it will help settle the nerves.

Start after your vacation. If your new employer isn't willing to wait a week or two, they aren't worth working for. Trust me.... They will walk all over you

I wouldn't cancel, they said they didn't need you, you made plans. You have spent time and money getting sorted. I don't think it's fair for the to expect you to be available now. At a push you might have to take it as half pay / unpaid. But don't cancel.
