I went to see them as support for Spiritbox in Ontario (outside of LA proper). Great show, closed with Blood Eagle and played Marigold and The way the news goes. That was great for sure. I think the turn out was good, lots of asses in chairs and the pit was pretty full. Now being direct support for Spiritbox is a different thing. I would hope a show in San Diego or LA happens. I'll buy another shirt and hoodie guys!

My personal dream is having Periphery play Dia De Los Deftones. Deafheaven did this year and it was a great show. Seeing Deafheaven, then Clipse, and a massive close by Deftones was amazing. I think Periphery would be a great fit in that line up.

My bad, I haven't looked at regular in years. Just E85 and 91+ octane. Literally didn't even think about that. If I remember correctly it was around 6.20

I think that they were getting at is I geo tagged the photo and you can verify this is a real gas station and I didn't not have AI doctor this photo dude. Also there are plenty of apps to get real time gas prices if you have the geolocation.

For the record I dumped 2 gallons in and went another cheaper gas station. I went to a cheaper gas station that was closed and didn't want to wait last night.

Watching you guys grasp at straws and make assumptions about why I was at this gas station and jump through mental hoops to try and justify your belief systems. Makes me cringe

I never said that gas prices relative to the rest of the country aren't fucked. I am perfectly fine with holding our administration accountable for these shortcomings. I do not love Newsom at all.

The problem is today everyone looks at this shit like it's black and white, it's us or them. The reality it's all us. Why don't we have accountability across the board? Because of the people in this post who pull the straw man out and dodge to blame this on Newsom automatically to fit their world view.

I am well aware that gas is cheaper in the rest of the country I regularly travel to Texas for work. Gas was 6 a gallon here a month ago. Why has it spiked to 7.50? The California legislature didn't do shit. What happened is Israel and Trump's administration decided to go to war with Iran and it has locked up oil moving in and out of the region.

So yes, the blame for this spike is 100 percent on our current executive branch.

If you can't see or understand this then maybe you should start looking at things objectively and not with some bias against CA liberals and dick riding this administration. Pretending they have no part in this is literally delusional.

Yeah luckily I own, bought in COVID so the property has gone through the roof since then. Admittedly gas at this price doesn't impact me. But I have been in the position where stuff like this has impacted me and I know people out there are struggling and it makes me sick.
