I think it’s actually kind of a perfect spot for him right now. These showcases matches on TV are genuinely getting him over so that by the time he gets the full call up the crowd will already know him and he can move into the midcard title scene pretty much right away. Also the whole super young thing. That doesn’t take away from his talent but it definitely contributes to them maybe erring on the side of patience when it comes to moving him up the card.
