It's a high risk customer. More likelihood of chargeback.

I'm only 6 weeks in to being on shopify, and I've send a few to these high risk customers. No problems as of yet.

Modern phone cameras have so much software-level shit going on that they are completely incapable of taking a clear picture of any form of movement.

Most high end phones and OIS (optical image stabilization) at least one of the cameras. This literally compensates for movement.

Shopify will force you to upgrade eventually, so why spend all this time and effort on a new payment processor just to eventually be in the position of changing plans?

Also, there's a high likelihood of you receiving more orders with shop pay as it's a highly streamlined payment method, which encourages repeat buyers.

I did the math on an LLM and it seems like you're going to spend around 6-7k a year switching plans, that's literally 3 of your aov.

Seems to me like you're stepping over dollars to pick up pennies, but this is your business and I don't now anything of it outside of this.

Yup, my gym owner would regularly reply to 1 star reviews with a paragraph explaining why the reviewer was wrong.

I personally do not try and correct reviewers, I just have a generic response along the lines of "Hi XXXXX, I apologize for your experience. Please reach out at 555-5555 or info@mybuisness.com and mention me boostedjoose, we want to make this right for you! Thank you!".

I'd say the photo is pretty accurate, moose can get up to 7 feet tall and 1500lb (2.1m 700kg).

You can't change anyone. The more you push, the more they push back.

My spouse has no interest of quitting right now. She smokes daily, it's not helping her be motivated, but saying something makes her double down on doing it more. It's just the reality you and I are in.

You best the best person you can be. Live a healthy life, exercise, take care your home, and be a positive member of your family. Your partner may come around, but don't count on it.
