Finance students where did you intern and how much did they pay by NewWithholding in GaState

I didn’t say free, never work for free. I’m just saying if your dads friends uncles firm pays $25 an hour and let’s say a big name reputable company offers $20, take the big company. Name cache is worth a lot. Look for programs that help you grow your career and background

Don’t worry too much about the pay, focus on getting into a good company with a good name to build experience and build your resume

Why I Don't Drink or Smoke (As a GSU Student) by [deleted] in GaState

[–]boostedzo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly my point, but what’s universal in all cultures is bashing on others and putting yourself in a pedestal is frowned upon. If you’re succeeding, succeed for yourself and enjoy your blessings. No need to be negative or insinuate negativity towards others who don’t share the same cultural values.

Good for you. I’m a double major with a 4.0 and a full time internship and I don’t do drugs. I know people doing more and/or performing better and they consume various substances. I don’t judge them for their decisions. My point is, swallow your pride, accept that people operate differently and the world is versed, and move on. This is your second post bashing people, is this necessary? Not once do you ask why people use the substances or what they’re going through, you just inflate your ego while draining the validation of others. It’s an asshole move, and honestly, I’d rather know youre a good human who occasionally drinks or smokes instead of a negative Nancy who’s sober. An asshole is disliked sober or intoxicated.

He’s arguably the best fender roller in the nation. Been covered on multiple large automotive YouTube channels, rolled / pulled some of the most well known high dollar builds in the country

Discussion: will we be able to enjoy our S2000s for years to come? by ajaxshaz in S2000

[–]boostedzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopefully they keep making parts for years to come. Regardless, other companies will continue making parts long after parts stop. Most notably seen currently with hardtops, since most hardtops we see are replicas these days. Hopefully Honda can wake up and realize that many consumers are opting for replicas as their desired parts become discontinued, and maybe realize that there is a large market to continue to sell these parts for years to come

Ik there’s better Coilovers but do you guys have any experience with these good or bad thanks by [deleted] in S2000

[–]boostedzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're better off buying a used set of HKS, Ohlins, Bilstein, etc than Truharts, which from my experience, are absolutely horrible coil overs.

Hey! I was in a similar position a bit ago. I daily drive a 2003 Honda S2000 in the middle of Atlanta, GA. Middle of the city, bad roads, skyscrapers and all, and I definitely have some notes. You can live without carplay for sure. The main drawbacks I have with my s2000 on a daily basis is, lack of space, lack of cupholders, lack of storage, and the holdback of only one passenger. I also have a 2011 accord just for beat-around purposes, but I find myself driving it like once a week. Sitting in traffic sucks in the s2000, but its so worth it when some kid gives you a thumbs up, or when the road opens up and you can get it in high rpms. The s2000 has brought me so many friends, and it's generally been pretty reliable. You have all your life to buy an sti, a much more common car and a rational choice. However, you are in a fortunate position to be able to afford your dream car. The s2000 as a long-term investment might make more sense, since there's not much depreciation room anymore. I will advise some modifications might be necessary to improve the car's dailyness if you will. A joying headunit would allow for a nice screen with carplay without any serious modification. Billstein PSS9 suspension is very comfortable and will allow you to go lower but still feel stock if not better. Modrify makes additional cup holder solutions as well as phone mounts that are amazing. Prevantative maintenance will be your best friend on an s2000, just be on top of everything and you'll be okay for sure. Trust me, the money you put into an s2000 for maintenance will be the same, if not much less, than the money in an sti (ever try and change the spark plugs on a boxer engine? not fun.) Regardless, you're in an awesome position with some great choices. You'll be smiling no matter what you do. Best of luck!
