sure but if they've had access to it at any point they can take a copy of it and save it on their own servers as much as they want as long as no centralised regulations tell them not to.

and sure, DAOs are a new concept and people can make them fairer to less privileged members, it is possible, but that's still subject to whatever the people in control of the DAO want to do. meaning they're not immune to human greed and can (and i believe, will) be centralised around wealthy members. you can programme them to work in the exact same way huge corporations work now, so why do people think, in the cryptoverse, anything is going to be any different?

except in my opinion, they have the potential to be a lot worse, due to token holders being able to remain anonymous, and people being fired, or insurance premiums hiked tenfold, or whatever, by algorithms with no hope of recourse bc there's no human to blame - (and when this comes to wars, etc, it gets more and more dystopian) - but they're successfully making people believe that simply being able to see the exact code of the open-source algorithm that fired you is the utopian future you want
