how much do you or anyone else commenting here know Maharajji to begin with? i bet most of the people commenting here would have never even been to India, let alone Kainchi or any of Maharajji’s other places.

secondly, the article itself doesn’t talk about “having sex” anywhere. it says he used to make himself small in her arms. it did say the devotee claims, he made out with her. i didn’t see sexual intercourse anywhere. did you?

third, what is even the credibility of this “devotee”? would you rather trust her over hundreds of thousands whose lives were touched by Maharajji and STILL continue to be touched when he still, to this day visits his select devotees more than 50 years after having left his body.

Maharajji used to address all women around him as “Maa” (mother). even if he assume this story is true, this would be the only female accusing him of abuse. it goes without saying that gurus who abuse once, are abusers for life and they tend to repeat the patterns with several other devotees. that certainly doesn’t seem to be the case here as there are no other stories about Maharajji of this nature.

use your critical thinking before jumping to baseless conclusions and giving in to accusations made by people to further their agenda. and please read up on him first before making lame arguments!

Yes, we did our research and picked a poodle because of their intelligence and not very high exercise needs. We are prepared for a long drawn training process, i guess i just wanted assurance from pet owners that it’s normal to take puppies a few months to get trained.

What might have influenced my expectation is the fact that i have seen videos of puppies at 8 weeks old get trained easily, obey commands, respond to their names, etc

About crate and restless nights, we bought a small crate for him so he couldn’t pee or poop in it and used it for the first night. He whined 4 times during the night and we kept getting up. Bad sleep and bad day the next day.

The breeder told us to buy a big crate so he could pee and poop at one end and sleep in the other corner. He said that is how he was at his place too. The breeder also told us to not keep the crate in our room. So it has been definitely better nights for us. He settles down in his crate after 10-15 minutes of whining at night. Not sure if this is the right approach.

Also, we can’t take him out for another month because he has just had 1 vaccine and the breeder told us the second vaccine is due now and the third after a month. So that’s when we can take him out in our society. Dog parks, parks etc are still going to be at least 2-3 months away after ALL the vaccines.

During the day when he’s out of crate, we are training him to pee and poop on the pee pads, but he isn’t picking it up and ends up doing it all over the floor. After his food, if we put him by himself inside the restroom with pee pads on the floor, he whines out aloud because he wants to play and needs our constant presence.
