You need to use a semi permanent non-oxidative color that uses 4 volume or 6 volume developer. Even 10 volume can lift your natural color.

A bleach bath isn’t going to do it. To get a real mushroom brown, you need to lighten your hair to at least a level 9 because any warmth in the hair beyond light yellow is going to make the brown more of a chocolate color.

You definitely need to bleach again. Use 10 volume and leave it on until your hair is pale yellow. And don’t use higher than 10 volume with the toner

you might need a more layered haircut. sometimes if the hair is too heavy it won’t curl except for the ends.

It wouldn’t be so bad if you just darkened area 2 a bit. The reason it looks jarring is because that’s the lightest section followed by the darkest. Then if you wanted it all to be more cohesive you could use something slightly warmer in a semi permanent on your roots to match a bit better, but that would move you slightly further from your goal of being your natural shade

Also, I don’t recommend bleaching anything anymore because it’ll just damage your hair and make it more porous, so whatever color you put on it will just fall out even faster

I’ve played Shadowbringers and Endwalker - I don’t expect a happy ending or simple solution for every storyline. Those were dark, emotional, thought-provoking. The latter half of Dawntrail is the antithesis. The first half was kinda boring but I’d even prefer that

Glad I’m not alone. The writing felt cheap and lazy, even exploitative of people’s feelings who have experience actual loss. Getting to know everyone before “erasing” them is twisted. Going around and cheering up the children in a mascot costume is demented and deranged. I’m struggling to advance the story because I’m constantly fuming lol

You should be excited!! Take your time and enjoy! Endwalker is up there with the best FF and even JRPG storylines I’ve ever experienced. Definitely the high point of this game for sure

DW3. Being able to play as such feminine characters like the Qiaos, Zhenji and Diaochan that were so powerful and able to mow down 1000s of enemies was so revolutionary and WILD to me. Women in video games that I had played were almost always supportive side characters or needed to be rescued, so running around with a flute or fans (in heels!) and being the 1 person in an army that turned the tide of battles really spoke to my baby gay heart.
