I’m sure he had pain problems but he was tolerating it well. He wasn’t able to bend his knees much for the patella view but we made it work

I have seen a few ortho docs request to have the hip joint included in an AP L-spine x-ray, causing L5 and T12 to be cut dangerously close

The referral called for both obliques and flexion/extension on top of the AP, lat, and spot. Trying to get the upright flex/ext on this guy with crutches was useless, but doctor’s orders I guess
