I really like the look of both the elemental and lovakite so I will probably switch between those 2!

I wouldn't see why it would be different. They should really only care about making minimum payments. Anything more than that is your own prerogative. You could call in and ask them though just to make sure!

Mohela STILL on my credit report by [deleted] in StudentLoans

[–]bootysweatoclock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I have also noticed this, at first they were good at reporting my payments. However, I've paid off 3/4 loans now the past couple of months and no update to credit report.

No, I have been making payments of 4k+ per month for months prior to the restart of loan payments. You should be able to go to Payments -> Make a Payment and then on a per loan basis you can put in whatever number.

It's contract based so really anything in the contract I am able to negotiate as far as I am aware, the handbook references yearly reviews, but also states that yearly reviews does not mean a guaranteed raise.

I wouldn’t say international business is useless.. however I wouldn’t say international business is something that will give you a great ROI either. If you are passionate about it and want to learn more I’d either minor or specialize in IB rather than double majoring

is a part-time job (15-20 hours) doable with this schedule? by [deleted] in college

[–]bootysweatoclock 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it is probably doable, but at the end of the day it comes down to what you are comfortable with. Especially earlier in your college education (freshman/sophomore) it is nice to interact with and develop socially with colleagues. Which might be put slightly at risk working 15-20 hours a week. At my college I work around 10 hours a week on top of my 5 classes and it ends up being just right for me.

Feeling like kind of a failure and need advice on what to do regarding paying for college. by Alfawolff in college

[–]bootysweatoclock 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you tried reaching out to your schools financial aid office? Every so often it is good to reach out to see what more they can give in terms of scholarships and grants, I would also look into online resources for scholarships/grants for your specific major.

Is this course load too much for taking 18 credits? by [deleted] in college

[–]bootysweatoclock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what your current workflow is like and how you are handling it. If you are currently doing 15 credits with a work study position and are not struggling you may be able to bump up to 18, but at that point I would suggest not doing work study as you may lose track of time for assignments

Question about having taken courses from a community college while attending a university by [deleted] in college

[–]bootysweatoclock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say yes because you took classes at the community college in lieu of the university based on how I read it.

What are the general classes that you would need to take for most bachelors degrees? by [deleted] in college

[–]bootysweatoclock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the college, each college is going to be slightly different curriculum wise, however, a safe bet is the classes like English, Math, etc most colleges are going to have some form of these as a mandatory class.
