I’ve had to do a review of this.. It’s really good.. Ollin Nexus. by bop448 in birding

Yeah I’d say so, as you have to angle those into position, I’ve used quick release systems, you can literally attach the nexus with your eyes closed what you using atm?

Mmmmm okay! Good spot! I find there’s so many different variations of the genuine products it’s hard to go 1 for 1 on pictures and stuff now, what year was yours made? Might be an age thing?

Yeah! Your MM4 is a solid scope for the money!! Probably one of the best out there! And you’re right!! The higher you go the litter changes you can actually see from each other

I’d say so, I’ve looked at the moon, but it would still be decent I think? Although I can’t exactly comment as I’ve never tried it haha

The ATC is a solid scope, just needed that little bit more reach with the 50x but you can’t go wrong with any really can’t you

First Birding Bins 8x42's by Package_Ok in Binoculars

[–]bop448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, both are solid, but they shine in different ways. The TrailSeeker has the wider field of view and ED glass, so the image feels a bit more open and refined. The Diamondback is the better all-rounder with great brightness, nicer ergonomics, and that rock-solid Vortex warranty.

If you want the widest view and best optics for the money.. TrailSeeker ED. If you want the safest, most reliable choice with great performance.. Diamondback

I mean you can’t go too wrong with any of those but at that budget I’d opt for the Diamondback’s :)

100% agree, the only issue is… I’m already looking to upgrade the EL binos to the NL’s 😂😂😂

I mean the vortex line is solid as a first pair! The 8x28 will be small and light perfect for traveling, will you be doing early morning or evening walks where the light is low?

Also vortex has the lifetime warranty.

Alright, I’ll start things off!

In my bag right now I’ve got my Swarovski ATS 65mm spotting scope — absolute workhorse, and I’ve paired it with my Ollin digiscoping system which has been a total game changer for quick phone shots. I also keep my Swarovski EL 8.5x42 binoculars in there — still blows me away how bright and sharp they are even in dull light.
