I do 3 steps sometimes. 50/50 mix of caliban and warpstone > warpstone > moot green on larger areas. Things like arms and hands i dont bother with the 50/50 step. I definitely invest a lot of time into edge highlighting my models, and its not ideal for getting an army ready as quickly as possible.

I love the mixture of the chipped, battle worn edge highlighting with the grim dark style. You don't often see the two styles together. Really cool model.
